Greetings cyberspace! 
My name is Dr. Jessie Sanders. I am an inspiring writer and mentor. Currently, I am a fish veterinarian at Aquatic Veterinary Services of Northern California located in Santa Cruz, CA. This blog will serve as insight into the mind of someone who doesn’t take “NO” for an answer.
Some of the “NO”s I’ve heard during my life:
1) No, you can’t be a fish vet.
2) No, you can’t go to vet school with a marine bio background.
3) No, you can’t have a successful career working with fish.
4) No, you can’t be a double major and graduate in 3 years.
5) No, you can’t apply to vet school one month before the deadline.
Okay, so more specifically, I’ve heard those within the last 6 years. And guess what? I’ve done them all. Well, #4 got changed mid-way through my college career and #3 is still in the works, but I won’t take “NO” for an answer. Neither should you.
If you are in high school, college, way beyond college or never been to college, if you have a dream, GO AFTER IT! No matter what anyone says. Truthfully, not all dreams are attainable, but your quest can make your dream something else you haven’t started dreaming about yet.
So, hopefully my ranting and mindless typing will help motivate you to get out there and do something! Whether its marching into your dream job with an application or sitting on your couch buying a book off Amazon about how to develop your dream, DO IT NOW!
